Success Story – FMS Lighting / Greener Technologies

For more than 66 years, FMS Lighting / Greener Technologies has provided professional

electrical lighting and signage services throughout the United States. Our company specializes

in interior and exterior lighting systems, LED retrofits, commercial electrical lighting projects, and

government facility upgrades. We own and operate our own service fleet and equipment,

including vans, bucket trucks, and cranes, allowing us to efficiently complete projects of all sizes

nationwide.

One of our recent federal contract successes was an exterior LED lighting retrofit project for the

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at the Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge located at 194 Bowdoin

Auto Tour Road, Malta, Montana 59538. The project involved upgrading exterior lighting

systems to modern energy-efficient LED technology to improve visibility, reliability, and long-term

operational efficiency for the facility.

The federal requisition number for this project was 0044027460. Throughout the project, we

worked closely with the Government Contracting Officer, Jeremy Riva, to ensure successful

project completion and customer satisfaction. The project was completed successfully, and both

the customer and the government representatives were highly satisfied with the results.

This contract represents a major milestone for our company and demonstrates the growth and

opportunities made possible through the support of the Mississippi APEX Accelerator program.

Had we not become a client of Mississippi APEX Accelerator, we would never have been able to

successfully enter the world of government contracting. Their guidance, professionalism, and

hands-on support gave us the knowledge and confidence necessary to pursue federal

opportunities and compete successfully in the government marketplace.

requirements, navigating the federal procurement process, improving our registrations and

certifications, and positioning our business for long-term success. Their dedication and

expertise have played a direct role in helping our company expand into federal contracting
